Welcome to the 2009 North Carolina Urban Forestry Conference.

The conference is designed to cover environmental, policy and educational issues relating to natural environments in urban areas, as well as bring awareness of technical tools and resources needed to assure urban forest quality throughout North Carolina. Field tours, exhibits, and speakers will focus on planning and maintaining sustainable green urban environments.

This conference should be beneficial to professionals who address urban livability, environmental quality, and those who work within the collaborative framework that ranges from arborists and landscapers, to economic development councils, to neighborhood and downtown advocacy groups.
