North Carolina Sustainable Forestry Teachers' TourRegistration DetailsHow to Sign Up: Return the Request for Consideration on the back of the Tour Brochure. Registration deadline is March 8th, and you will be notified of your selection by March 17th. Registration fee: There is no registration fee! Teachers are sponsored by grant funding and local businesses. If you are accepted, a fully refundable deposit of $50 is required to hold your spot. What is included? Your hotel room for four nights, all meals and refreshments during the tour, all admission fees to tour stops (including The Biltmore Estate or Tryon Palace), and all transportation during the tour. CEUs will be available and a certificate provided. Eligibility: All NC educators are encouraged to apply. Acceptance will be dependent upon responses to application essay questions, and preference will be given to full-time classroom educators for grades K to 12, with teachers of environmental studies, sciences, etc. given first priority. Multiple teachers from the same school can apply.
