Forest Soils Refresher

This teleconference will cover the basics of forest soils. Understanding the nature of forest soils, from structure, to nutrient availability, is key to determining site selection and site index. Speakers fromthe following organizations will participate:

• NCSU Department of Soil Science
• USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service
• NCSU Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources
