Welcome
A joint conference of multiple
working parties related to breeding and genetic resource management
of IUFRO Division 2 will be held November 1-5, 2004, in Charleston,
South Carolina, USA. This international conference is to bring together
geneticists, breeders, applied and basic scientists, managers and
professional foresters to exchange the latest information on forest
genetics and tree breeding related topics, with special focus on potential
application of biotechnology and genomics in the future. The conference
will include invited, contributed presentations and posters, and a
field trip.
