Who Are We?

We are a group of people who meet on a regular basis and learn current, research-based family and consumer science information to promote the quality of our community.

We are part of North Carolina Extension and Community Association and are partners through a memorandum of understanding with FAmily and Consumer Science (FCS) of North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service.

Our Purpose:

To Strengthen Families Through:

  • Volunteer Work and Community Outreach
  • Educational Programs and Activities

    • Our Mission:

    To strengthen families and our community through continuing education, leadership development and community volunteer service with emphasis on providing service in the areas of economic opportunity, educational excellence, and health and well-being.

    Learning Opportunities:

    We attend conferences, tours, educational presentations, cultural enrichment workshops, and have fun!
