ATTRACTING BIRDS TO THE LANDSCAPE

Most of us share our gardens with a wide variety of urban wildlife, from squirrels and rabbits to foxes and mice. Although this relationship is strained at times, most would agree that birds add just that extra intangible to the garden experience. The following is a brief list of plants that one should consider for the garden to be attractive to birds. Many of these plants are attractive in fall and winter with brightly colored leaves, berries, or patterned bark.
