4-H Camp Millstone is a rustic camp in Ellerbe, NC. Campers stay in clustered cabins with central bathhouses.4-H Camp Millstone is for all boys and girls ages 8-12. You do not have to be a 4-H Club Member to attend. 4-H Camp Millstone allows campers the opportunity to try cool new things in a safe environment. Camp Millstone is fully accredited by the American Camping Association. Camp Millstone provides trained resident staff and is locally supervised by the Extension Staff. The camp maintains a ratio of one adult for every seven campers.
General Conduct
Campers must be able to function effectively in groups of 20 campers to 2 staff
persons, comprehend and follow basic instructions, have an understanding of natural
hazards (for example, roads, lakes, heights) the maturity to spend a week away
from home and be able to change clothes and use restroom facilities without assistance.
Parents and children are required to sign a Code of Conduct form in which behavioral
standards are outlined. Campers who present constant behavior problems or severe
home sickness will be asked to withdraw from camp without a refund.
