Responsibilities
- Evaluation of soil fertility and soil management
issues for commodity crops grown in the Mountain
and western Piedmont regions of North Carolina,
primarily including apples, Christmas trees, fruits,
and vegetables.
- Research focus includes management of nitrogen,
phosphorus, and micronutrients for the establishment
and sustainability of these crops in a profitable
and environmentally sound manner.
