The objective of my program is to increaase the environmental and economical sustainability of agriculture by reducing production costs and optimizing cultural systems for commercial vegetables, introducing and developing new crops, and optimizing production systems for organics.

Responsibilities

• 40% research and 60% extension: production, culture and physiology of commercial vegetables, herbs, organics, and specialty crops
• North Carolina Specialty Crops Program Coordinator
