Important Pesticide Application Considerations
Types of Sprayers
Backpack Sprayers
Pump-up backpack sprayers are most often used to apply herbicides in Christmas trees. However, they can be used to make spot treatments of insecticides or miticides. Use either a hollow cone adjustable nozzle or a double flat fan nozzle to give the best penetration into foliage.
