Reinventing an old favorite - new flowering quince that are thornless (no more bloodletting) and fruitless (no mess to clean up) with double flowers that resemble camellias. Double Take™ 'Scarlet Storm' (Chaenomeles speciosa 'Scarlet Storm' PP20,951)
- Big, dark red, velvety double flowers, up to 2.5 inches in diameter with 17 to 25 petals per flower.
- Unlike many flowering quinces, tends to have flowers all the way out to the tips of its branches.
- Occasional repeat blooms.

- Large double flowers, 2-inches in diameter.
- Salmon or coral colored flower with 29-40 petals per flower that resemble sweetheart roses.

- Big, bright orange, camellia-like blooms.
- Double flowers with 31-49 petals per flower that look like orange petticoats.
