FoodCorps will be highlighting food security projects on MLK Day of Service in Wilmington!
LINC Farm; LINC's Education of Agriculture Program, an urban farming initiative of Leading Into New Communities (LINC), Inc., in partnership with Southeastern North Carolina Food Systems Program, Feast Down East, is working with individuals returning from incarceration in New Hanover County. Tasks to be accomplished: building a hoop house, building terraces, creating one day food drive hub. Looking to organize a community meal at the end of the work day in honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
