FoodCorps will be highlighting food security projects for MLK Day of Service in Goldsboro!
Dillard Academy School Garden Revitalization: Dillard Academy is a K-4 Title 1 Charter school in Goldsboro NC. Their existing school garden is over run and heavily weeded. Programming will include, community weed-a-thon, mulching, clearing beds, repairing beds, planting beds where possible, and some light building projects. The day will culminate in a meal in celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
