Chatham County Cooperative Extension Service and Chatham County Environmental Health will be conducting ServSafe training on February 4th, 5th and 11th Classes will be held in the Pittsboro Community Library, 197 NC 87, Pittsboro from 9am to 5pm. The cost of the class is $100.00 per person, this includes the textbook, all materials provided in the classes and refreshments. This is a program for all food service managers and supervisory staff in restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes,and other food service establishments. ServSafe® is a 14-hour Food Safety Certification Course developed by the Education Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. Certification will be provided by the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. A certificate will be awarded to all who successfully complete the course and the written examination
