The topic for the session is Phorid Flies and Honey Bees, with guest speaker Dr. John Hafernik, Professor of Biology, San Francisco State University. There has been a lot of discussion and press coverage on this subject, so we are very fortunate to hear directly from the research leader about how these "zombie flies" may impact beekeepers.
