Details: Is your business, non-profit, organization, or are you individually promoting sustainable measures in your everyday practices? The Winston-Salem Sustainability Resource Center (WSSRC) would like to celebrate and acknowledge local businesses, non-profits, and individuals who have made exemplary contributions to sustainability in the Forsyth community through a Sustainable Business Nominations program. Nominations are now being accepted, and will close October 10th at 4 p.m. Winners will be announced at the Sustainable Business Awards and Celebration on October 30th at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA). Each winner will receive a hand-made glass award made of re-purposed materials commissioned from the Olio in Winston-Salem.
