Facelis retusa
Control of this weed needs to be done in October-November after germination or in February-March (mild temperatures) or even early April before it produces it's seed for the next year.

Description
Description: This is a winter annual, low-growing weed, that has already produced seed for next year's germination and will die out in several weeks. The plants are about 2-4 inches high and produce a large amount of dandelion-like fluffy seed which often cover the ground near large colonies of the plant.
