Forecast Summary:
Wednesday, November 19, 2008

Weather - Southern U.S.: Continued cold and dry with a brief warming on Thursday. A reinforcing shot of cold air will arrive late Thursday into Friday, following a chilly day on Wednesday and a warmer, but still below normal for many areas, day on Thursday. Highs mostly 50's and 60's, lows mostly 30's and 40's, with the warmest readings southern TX.

OUTLOOK

Wednesday and Thursday - Low Risks all areas. The growing areas of southern SC, southern GA, southwest MS, and parts of northern FL received a freeze Tuesday night, and have been dropped from the forecasts. Portions of TX had a freeze last weekend and were dropped earlier this week.

Wednesday and Thursday: Dry and cool conditions will be dominant, with Low Risk to cucurbits in the southern U.S..
