Forecast Summary: Friday, October 10, 2008
Weather - Central & Eastern U.S. / southern Canada: Showers in the Southeast; dry elsewhere. An upper-level disturbance drifting around the Southeast will produce showers in that region with the best chance toward the Atlantic coast each day. High pressure centered in southern Canada will govern the weather elsewhere. Expect sunny to partly cloudy skies and little to no rain. A developing storm system in the West will be moving into the Plains by Sunday; some rain will be creeping toward that area. Unseasonably warm most locations, with Highs mostly 70's and 80's.
OUTLOOK
Friday through Sunday - Elevated risks in the Southeast, with Low Risks nearly all other events.

Saturday: HIGH Risk for cucurbits in southern SC. Strongly Moderate Risk for eastern NC and northeast SC. Moderate Risk for southern FL, northern FL, the eastern FL panhandle, southern GA, northwest SC, and western NC. Low Risk otherwise.
Sunday: Strongly Moderate Risk for cucurbits in southern FL, northern FL, the FL panhandle, southeast AL, southern GA, southern SC, western OK, and central and western KS. Moderate Risk for central OK. Low Risk otherwise.
