***** In the Southeast.... Unsettled weather will continue for the next several days in this region. A stationary front lies across the Carolinas today. Cloudy and cool with light rain or drizzle across the north. Partly to mostly cloudy elsewhere with scattered mainly afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms. The front will lift to the north on Wednesday. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across the Southeast. Rainfall will be enhanced and more concentrated around a low pressure disturbance that will move northeastward from the central Gulf coast through the southern Appalachian Mountains. Tuesday's trajectories are given below. Wednesday's trajectories move northeast. Strongly Moderate to HIGH Risk for FL and southern GA Tuesday and Wednesday. Strongly Moderate Risk for southern and eastern SC each day, especially near the source area at Charleston. Moderate Risk for central and eastern GA on Tuesday. Moderate Risk for eastern NC on Wednesday. Low Risk all other areas and times.
***** In Texas.... a weak disturbance will bring some cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms to mainly the eastern sections of the state today. Partly cloudy western and central sections and mostly dry. Sunny to partly cloudy and dry most areas on Wednesday.... with greater cloudiness and a chance of showers in the northeast.... panhandle... and far west. Trajectories from the source area move to the southwest today and Wednesday. There is a 20 to 30% chance of showers in the source region both days. Weakly Moderate to Moderate Risk today and Wednesday for deep south TX. Low Risk otherwise.
