Regional weather: Thursday, June 26 - Texas: Cold front moving through the state today is producing scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across the north and east with a few popping up in the west as well. Partly cloudy and dry for the south today. The front will sag southward to the southeast TX coast on Friday. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across the southern half of the state. Sunny to partly cloudy and mostly dry northern half on Friday. Highs mostly in the 90's, lows mostly 60's and 70's. Saturday through Monday..... dry day on Saturday for TX. Sunday and Monday will be mostly dry also, though some afternoon showers are possible in the Panhandle and perhaps some eastern sections.

Trajectory weather: Partly cloudy through the forecast. Slight chance of showers this afternoon and evening, rising to 30% overnight. Dry on Friday. High in the upper 90's today, low 90's Friday. Low tonight near 70.

OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat today, Moderate Threat Friday *** Mostly unfavorable conditions for today's transport event. Low to Weakly Moderate Risk for deep south TX. Friday's trajectory moves northwest along the Mexico side of the Rio Grande. Mixed conditions are expected near the source region with partly cloudy skies and a chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Moderate Risk for deep South TX on Friday. Low Risk otherwise. TK
