*** Unsettled weather is expected in the Gulf Coast region today..... spreading northward into the TN Valley and lower mid-Atlantic regions on Wednesday. Dry weather is in store for the remainder of the eastern U.S. Tuesday and Wednesday. *** High pressure is moving slowly through the Great Lakes and Northeast. A stationary front lies across the Southeast. Tropical Storm Isidore.... now in the southern Gulf.... is expected to move north and make landfall near the Mississippi delta region by Thursday. The front and the tropical system will bring rainy conditions to FL and southern sections of the Gulf Coast states today. A few showers are possible farther northward. Increased cloudiness and the chance of rain will affect areas farther to the north on Wednesday.
Tuesday...... trajectories will be moving west from southern GA and FL, southwest from other sources. HIGH RISK for central and northern FL, southern GA, and southern AL. Moderate Risk for SC, southeast NC, and northern sections of GA and AL. Low Risk elsewhere.
Wednesday...... trajectories will be moving southwest and west from most sources. Deteriorating conditions from south to north as the day progresses. HIGH RISK for central and northern FL, southern GA, and southern AL. Strongly Moderate Risk for eastern NC, SC, and northern sections of GA and AL. Moderate Risk for southern VA, central and western NC, and eastern TN. Low Risk elsewhere.
