Downy mildew is widely present in older squash plantings around Immokalee and has been found on watermelon at low levels in the Devil's Garden area."
*** The southern FL source region is a Low Threat to other areas Tuesday and Wednesday *** The cold front that moved into the Southeast during the weekend is behaving much as expected. It now lies east-to-west across far southern SC and central sections of GA and AL. Partly cloudy, warm, and dry weather is expected south of the front. Cloudy and cool with a chance of rain north of the front. Conditions are unfavorable for survivable transport and/or deposition of airborne spores both Tuesday and Wednesday. Low Threat to other growing areas from the southern FL source. Low Risk to cucurbit crops Tuesday and Wednesday.
