*** Hot and humid in the Southeast for the next two days, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms in the western sections. *** High pressure moving into the western Atlantic is pumping warm, moist air into the region. Dry weather for most eastern areas. Scattered showers possible western areas. Better chance for showers region-wide on Thursday, when a cold front will move into the Southeast. Mixed conditions for survivable transport and deposition are expected for transport events from FL and southwest GA each day. Transport events from Charleston are Low Threats today and Wednesday. Southern FL is at Moderate Risk both days. Central FL is at Weakly Moderate Risk both days.
