FORECAST SUMMARY: Tuesday, June 4:

*** Hot and humid in the Southeast for the next two days, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms in the western sections. *** High pressure moving into the western Atlantic is pumping warm, moist air into the region. Dry weather for most eastern areas. Scattered showers possible western areas. Better chance for showers region-wide on Thursday, when a cold front will move into the Southeast. Mixed conditions for survivable transport and deposition are expected for transport events from FL and southwest GA each day. Transport events from Charleston are Low Threats today and Wednesday. Southern FL is at Moderate Risk both days. Central FL is at Weakly Moderate Risk both days. Other areas that may be affected include...... for Tuesday's transport events: Moderate Risk for the FL panhandle, southwest GA, all of AL, and eastern MS...... for Wednesday's transport events: Moderate Risk for the FL panhandle, southeast AL, southwest GA, northern SC, and south-central NC. Low Risk for other areas Tuesday and Wednesday.
