Regional weather: Thursday,
September 28 - Southeast /
Mid-Atlantic: Tail end of the early-week
cold front lags across southern FL. Another weak cold front will work
southward through the mid-Atlantic into the Southeast today and
Friday, but only some clouds will indicate its passing. Strong high
pressure to the north will set up a vigorous northeast and east flow
through the weekend. The combination of the old front and the onshore
flow will cause a chance of showers in FL for a few days. Some extra
cloudiness and perhaps some light rain may also affect coastal
sections of the Southeast. Otherwise, sunny to partly cloudy weather
region-wide through the weekend with no rain expected. Highs in the
60's to 80's, lows in the 40's to 60's.
Trajectory weather: Mostly sunny today, high in the 70's. Mostly clear tonight and Friday, low in the upper 40's, high in the 70's.
Trajectory confidence: High.
OUTLOOK: *** Low Threat *** Clear, dry weather expected near the sources through Sunday. Low Risk to growers. TK
