This feature, and this feature only, will be shared each day with all the State Tobacco Blue Mold Coordinators and the general public via the Internet Forecast homepage. Please, be concise and informative. No editing will be done - the account will appear EXACTLY as written. Below is an example of how a narrative account might be written:

Narrative Account of a Blue Mold Outbreak - EXAMPLE

Blue Mold was found on burley tobacco - and confirmed on May --, 1998 in Wake County near Knightdale, NC. Fresh, active lesions were found in 3 fields in Wake County and in 2 fields in adjacent Johnston, Co.
Two generations of lesions (fresh and 10-14 days old) were found in several fields where protective spraying had not been applied. The disease appears to have been present for 1-2 weeks. Weather conditions have been favorable for tobacco blue mold since April --. Good control (no lesions) has been practiced by most tobacco growers in the infected area.
