4 August 1999 Blue Mold Forecasts

 

FORECAST DISCUSSION: Wednesday, August 4: *** Inactive weather pattern to persist for the next few days *** Mostly sunny and dry weather will continue in the growing regions of the U.S. for the next 2 to 3 days. The lone exception is southern New England, where growers will be at Moderate Risk on Thursday as conditions become favorable ahead of an approaching cold front. Parts of eastern Kentucky and the southern Appalachian Mountains may see some localized disease development where it has rained recently. Otherwise, all growers will be at Low Risk Wednesday and Thursday. TK
