27 August 1999 Blue Mold Forecasts

 

FORECAST DISCUSSION: Friday, August 27: *** SPECIAL NOTE: Your forecaster will be away from August 19 through August 29. Beginning August 16 and continuing through August 29th, abbreviated one-page forecasts will be produced. These will consist of regional weather descriptions and trajectories from the remaining active disease areas.   For today, scattered showers and storms in the Southeast and the Gulf Coast region.  Showers are possible in the Northeast with partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions in the western portions of the South.  Highs  in the upper 80's to 90's in the South and Ohio Valley with 80's in the North.  90's to 100's in Texas are expected today.  Lows tonight will range from the 60's to 70's in the East and Ohio Valley.  Saturday will see isolated showers and storms again in the Southeast with chance of rain along the Northeast coast.  Otherwise partly sunny to partly cloudy.  Highs in the upper 80's to low 90's in the Southeast with mid 80's in the Northeast and Ohio Valley.  Lows will be in the 60's in the Northeast, Ohio Valley, and parts of the Southeast with 70's elsewhere in the South.  Sunday's weather will be chance of showers and storms in Southeast especially along the Southeast coast as Hurricane Dennis approaches.  The Northeast and Ohio Valley will see partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions.  Highs in the 70's and 80's in the Northeast, 80's in the Ohio Valley, and 80's to 90's in the Southeast.  Note that Sunday's weather may change for the Southeast depending on the track and speed of movement of Dennis.
