23 August 1999 Blue Mold Forecasts

 

FORECAST DISCUSSION: Monday, August 23: *** SPECIAL NOTE: Your forecaster will be away from August 19 through August 29. Beginning August 16 and continuing through August 29th, abbreviated one-page forecasts will be produced. These will consist of regional weather descriptions and trajectories from the remaining active disease areas. Chance of showers and storms in Southeast later today and tomorrow as low pressure system moves slowly east from the upper Mississippi Valley.  Rain will continue to persist in that region as well.  The Northeast will be mostly sunny with rshowers developing ltomorrow.  Highs today will be in the 80's and some 70's in the Southeast with 70's in the Northeast.  The Great Lakes region will experience highs in the lower 70's to upper 60's.  Lows will be in the lower 70's to upper 60's in the eastern third of the country.  Highs tomorrow will range from the 80's in the South to 70's in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.  Any spores transported to the western Great Lakes region will probably be washed out and have favorable conditions for survival.
