5 March 1997 Blue Mold Forecasts

FORECAST DISCUSSION: Wednesday, March 5, 1997 - A broad area of high pressure centered in the southern plains is controlling the weather for most of Mexico. Sunny conditions prevail, though the easterly flow may bring some low clouds and /or light rain to the Mexican Gulf Coast. No long-range disease development is expected from any sources during the next couple of days. However, chances of localized development may be enhanced in the eastern Mexico growing areas due to the moist flow from the Gulf. TK

THREATENING SOURCES: No seriously threatening sources.

HIGH RISK AREAS: None
