FORECAST DISCUSSION: Wednesday, July 17, 1996
*** Nearly all sources are Moderate risk for the next several days. *** Partly cloudy skies and a chance of showers will provide partially favorable conditions for blue mold development during the forecast period. Winds will be generally from the west or southwest, so the main threat will be near to and east of the source areas. Early washout is likely today near all the source regions. TK
HIGH-RISK SOURCES: None
***** NOTE: These forecasts/outlooks only apply to disease development from airborne transport of spores!!! We do not have the capability to ascertain blue mold development by other means, such as transplanting of infected seedlings, nor will we attempt to do so. Please consult the Extension Service personnel in your area if you have concerns about these matters! *****
