15 April 1996 Blue Mold Forecasts

Forecast Discussion: Weekend conditions didn't favor the spread of blue mold beyond known locales. Early-week weather is also good for disease suppression as cooler, drier air has entered the S Plains area and is moving east. I wondered earlier if the Cuban sources might cause some trouble today, but the trajectories aren't threatening and the weather is too sunny near the sources for good survival rates. IF there were blue mold present in S GA or N FL, then this is the kind of day on the east coast that would cause concern. Good thing there isn't any!

HIGH-RISK SOURCES: None
