Weather Summary
Northeast U.S.: Active, unsettled weather. The second in the series of this week's cold fronts now lies in the western sections of the region. It will crawl very slowly eastward over the next 4 to 5 days, producing a prolonged period of cloudy / rainy conditions. Highest chances and greatest amounts of rain are expected today through Saturday. Scattered shower activity is anticipated Sunday and Monday. Highs mostly 60s and 70s, lows mostly 50s and 60s.
OUTLOOK
Thursday through Monday ... conditions will be favorable for epidemic spread all days save Sunday, when they will be mixed. Transport to other regions is not expected. HIGH Risk to tobacco in southeast PA and southern New England Thursday through Saturday. Moderate Risk for both regions on Sunday. Strongly Moderate Risk for both regions on Monday. Low Risk otherwise through the period.
