Forecast Summary: Tuesday, March 16

Regional Weather (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): Weak weather system moving through the region on Wednesday. Dry weather today will give way to scattered showers on Wednesday, as a weak system traverses the region. The better chances of rain will be in northern FL and southern GA. Many areas will remain dry. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy today in the heart of the region with cloudy skies to the west and north. Expect mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday across the region. Highs/Lows on the cool side of normal with readings in the 50s-60s/30s-40s most locales. Southern FL temperatures will be more in the 70s/50s.

OUTLOOK

Tuesday and Wednesday:

Tuesday's transport event moves slowly near the source before heading southeast after ~24 hours. Wednesday's event moves to the south. Neither event poses much threat to other growing regions. Low Risk to tobacco in the U.S. growing areas Tuesday and Wednesday.
