*** Epidemic Update: June 28: First report from NC in 2009. TBM has been confirmed in Forsyth County, NC. Please view the Epidemic History page for details. ***
Forecast Summary: Thursday, July 2, 2009
Regional Weather (Northeast U.S.): Unsettled Northeast / upper mid-Atlantic; mostly dry southern mid-Atlantic. Similar weather expected for the next two days as it has been recently; more clouds than not and a chance of showers. All this is courtesy of an upper-level Low sitting over the Great Lakes. The Low will be moving out this weekend, however, so some dry weather may finally arrive. Seasonally warm toward the lower mid-Atlantic with little to no rain anticipated. Temperatures quite cool underneath the clouds. Highs only in the 60's and 70's for the Northeast / upper mid-Atlantic, 80's and 90's farther south. Lows in the 50's and 60's.
