Forecast Summary: Tuesday, March 25
Regional Weather (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): Dry weather through the work week with moderating temperatures. High pressure is in control of the weather in the region for the next several days. Expect mostly sunny skies and no rain. As the center of the High shifts from just overhead to off the coast ... temperatures will moderate from the initially cool readings to near and then above normal as the week progresses.
OUTLOOK
Tuesday and Wednesday: Transport events from the known sources are Low Threats to other areas. Trajectories from Cuba move to the southwest each day. Events from northern FL move over interior sections of the Southeast. However, very cool nighttime temperatures will hinder sporulation, the weather will stay dry, and solar exposure will kill any airborne spores. Low Risk to tobacco plants in the U.S. Tuesday and Wednesday.
