Regional Weather - Ohio Valley / mid-Atlantic / Southeast: A cold front is sinking through the lower sections of the Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic regions today and will turn largely stationary over the Southeast during the weekend. Expect sunny, hot, and mainly dry weather in the Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic over the next three days. Scattered to sometimes numerous showers or storms will occur in various parts of the Southeast each day; otherwise hot, humid, and dry in that region through Sunday.

OUTLOOK:

All sources: Transport events from the various sources should have little to no impact on other growing regions from Friday through Sunday. Unfavorable conditions for survivable transport and deposition are expected during each transport event. Low Risk to NC tobacco plants from Friday through Sunday.
