Forecast Summary: Friday, March 30
Regional Weather - Friday, March 30 - (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): Some cloudiness is present today associated with the dissipating front that extends from southeast GA through TN; otherwise sunny to partly cloudy skies expected with high pressure over the region. Dry for most areas Friday and Saturday. By late Saturday there may be some showers impinging on the northern and western fringes of the region. This is due to a frontal system that will be moving through the region on Sunday. Sunday will see partly to mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers or thunderstorms for the mainland areas, while the FL peninsula and the eastern Gulf remain mostly dry. Highs in the 70's and 80's, lows ranging from the 40's north to 60's south.
Outlook: Transport events from western Cuba will be moving west and north into the central Gulf of Mexico each day. Little threat to any U.S. interests. Low Risk to tobacco plants in NC Friday through Sunday.
