Regional Weather - Wednesday, March 28 - (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): High pressure remains parked over the region through midweek. Expect sunny to partly cloudy skies, warm temperatures, and no precipitation for most areas. A slow-moving cold front now in the Ohio Valley / mid-Atlantic states will push south into TN and the Carolinas tonight and Thursday. Rain will move into these areas today and tonight, continuing in lighter fashion on Thursday. Very sharp cooldown behind the front will be short-lived as the front dissipates on Thursday and high pressure re-asserts itself.
Outlook: Trajectories out of western Cuba are moving WSW Wednesday and Thursday under unfavorable conditions for survivable transport and deposition. Low Risk to tobacco plants in NC Wednesday and Thursday.
