Forecast Summary: Monday, March 26
Regional Weather - Monday, March 26 - (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): As has been the case in past weeks, high pressure at the surface and aloft will be in control of the weather over the region for the last week of March. This will result in sunny to partly cloudy skies, warmer than normal temperatures, and little to no rainfall. The back-door cold front that entered that Carolinas yesterday will dissipate without fanfare later today. Highs ranging from the 60's north to 80's south today, mostly 80's on Tuesday. Lows in the 50's and 60's.
Outlook: Trajectories out of western Cuba are moving WSW through midweek under unfavorable conditions for survivable transport and deposition. Low Risk to tobacco plants in NC Monday and Tuesday.
