Forecast Summary: Friday, March 23

Regional Weather - Friday, March 23 - (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): High pressure situated over the region will be the controlling weather feature this weekend and likely well beyond. Other than some stray isolated showers near the FL keys, expect sunny to partly cloudy skies and dry weather. A cold front will move into the Carolinas from the north on Sunday. Impacts will be slight, some increased clouds and cooler temps. Highs mostly 80's (70's Carolinas on Sunday), lows running from the 50's to 70's.

Outlook: Until the prevailing weather patterns change, trajectories from western Cuba will move southwest over the Yucatan peninsula. Unfavorable conditions for survivable transport and deposition are expected. Low Risk to tobacco plants in NC Friday through Sunday.
