Forecast Summary: Wednesday, March 21
Regional Weather - Wednesday, March 21 - (Southeast U.S. / eastern Gulf of Mexico): High pressure centered off the mid-Atlantic coast extends over the Southeast U.S. and Gulf of Mexico through midweek and likely beyond. A back-door cold front that entered the Carolinas yesterday is dissipating. Some clouds and a chance of light rain are present here on Wednesday. There is also a chance of showers in the southern 1/2 of FL due to the strong onshore flow. For all other areas, expect sunny to partly cloudy skies and no rain through Thursday. Temperatures ranging from the 60's to 80's for highs (cooler Carolinas on Wednesday), 40's to 60's for lows.
Outlook: Trajetories out of western Cuba continue to move west to southwest Wednesday and Thursday under unfavorable conditions for long-range transport and deposition. Low Risk to tobacco plants in NC Wednesday and Thursday.
