Regional weather: Friday, June 17 - Eastern Gulf of Mexico / southeast U.S.: High pressure dominates the weather over the Gulf, but the are low pressure throughs over the eastern US and into the western Caribbean that are having this influence. Afternoon thunderstorms are in the forecast as well as rain from a systems forecast to develop off the Yucatan coast late in the weekend.
Trajectory weather: Warm and sunny with afternoon thunderstorms. High temperatures in the 80s and lows in the 70s.
