FORECAST SUMMARY: Monday, April 12:
Monday and Tuesday: The threat to the U.S. crops from western Cuba has abated. Though the weather in the eastern Gulf of Mexico region remains quite unsettled, the transport events on Monday and Tuesday are far less threatening than those of this past weekend. The risk to crops in northern FL and southern GA returns to Low for the next several days. Please refer to the update for Sunday, April 11 for a discussion of this past weekend's events. Trajectories from the other known or potential sources do not threaten other areas on Monday or Tuesday.
