*** After this morning's rain, very warm and mostly dry weather is expected in the Southeast Wednesday and Thursday *** The much-needed rain expected for NC today never materialized. The warm front that was supposed to be over the state today was instead parked over north GA and SC. Showers and thunderstorms moved through those areas last night and this morning. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected for most areas Wednesday and Thursday, with very warm temperatures. Other than a chance of showers for some northern and western areas, the weather will be dry. For the NC source.... Wednesday's trajectory moves north. Transport conditions are mostly unfavorable but some spores will survive. Rain is likely over the forecast trajectory tonight. Moderate Risk for central VA and southeast PA. Low Risk elsewhere. Thursday's trajectory moves quickly northeast. Moderate Risk for northeast NC and southeast VA on Thursday. For southern GA and northern FL.... trajectories move quickly northeast each day. Conditions are unfavorable for survivable transport and deposition. Low Risk for these source regions Wednesday and Thursday.
