*** Disease Update - 13 March: Paul Shoemaker's report from last week indicates that light blue mold activity is present in several locations near Santiago, in the Dominican Republic. Airborne spores from this region could possibly affect the growing areas of the United States. This area is being added to the forecasts.
***** All sources are Low Threats Wednesday and Thursday. ***** The frontal system moving through the Southeast is traveling too far to the north to create any disease development problems. Trajectories do not approach the U.S. growing areas, and conditions are unfavorable for survivable transport. Dry weather is expected near the known sources both days. Low Risk to U.S. production areas Wednesday and Thursday.
