FORECAST SUMMARY: Wednesday, May 23:

*** Unfavorable weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday *** In the wake of the cold front now exiting the Southeast, sunny, dry conditions are expected near the source areas for the next two days. Trajectories from western Cuba and southern TX pose little threat as well. Low Risk to commercial tobacco crops on Wednesday and Thursday. For the weekend..... a large cutoff Low centered in the Midwest will be guiding unsettled weather toward the Southeast U.S. One front will affect western sections of the Southeast Thursday afternoon. Beyond that time, forecasts become quite uncertain. Our Friday forecasts should be able to describe the upcoming events in better detail.
