FORECAST SUMMARY: Friday, April 20:

*** There is a possible threat to the growing areas in Missouri on Friday *** The degree of disease activity on the wild tobacco in southern Texas is largely uncertain. However, the potential exists for airborne spores from this area to be transported and deposited in Missouri Friday night. There is Moderate Risk on Friday for the Missouri production regions. Regions beyond Missouri are at Low Risk from Friday's transport episode. On Saturday and Sunday, trajectories from the southern Texas region do not threaten other areas.

*** In the Southeast U. S. ...... strong high pressure will rule the weather during the weekend. Sky conditions will be unfavorable for survivable transport, and dry weather will continue near the known sources. The sources in NC, FL, and western Cuba are Low Threats Friday through Sunday.
