FORECAST DISCUSSION: Sunday, April 2: *** Favorable conditions for disease development will persist in the eastern U.S. through Tuesday *** A stationary front extending from Texas to New England is providing the focus for unsettled weather. Much of the eastern U.S. is cloudy. Showers are possible along the East Coast and rain is quite likely near the front. The source in northern FL is a Serious Threat. Growers in west-central SC, central NC, southeast VA, and southern MD are at STRONGLY Moderate Risk on Sunday. There is Moderate Risk for growers in southern New England. Deposition will occur sometime Sunday night or Monday. Transport events on Monday and Tuesday are expected to be similar to the one on Sunday, with growers in the Southeast under threat of disease development. The other sources are Low Threats on Sunday.
