FORECAST DISCUSSION: Friday, April 28: *** We have another report of blue mold in NC *** Blue mold has been discovered in a greenhouse in Moore County in south-central NC. This is a source of moderate strength. Fresh lesions are present and some are sporulating strongly. Trajectories will originate from Vass, NC

*** Another weather system is moving through the eastern U.S. this weekend. *** However, like last weekend..... the bulk of the system will move through the mid-Atlantic and Southeast on Friday, with some lingering clouds and a chance of rain for parts of the mid-Atlantic on Saturday. Dry, sunny weather region-wide on Sunday and Monday. On Friday.... there is HIGH RISK for central and eastern NC and northern FL. There is Moderate Risk for southeast GA and southern SC. Low Risk elsewhere. On Saturday.. growers in south-central and southeast NC and northeast SC will be at Moderate Risk, with Low Risk for other growers. All growers will be at Low Risk on Sunday.
